Grant Village Campground: Your Gateway to the Lower Loop and Grand Teton.

Grant Village Campground is located at the southern entrance of Yellowstone National Park within the Lower Loop, right next to Yellowstone Lake, giving you access to the Lower Loop and Grand Teton.

The park is enormous, and many people don't consider it before traveling. It is tough to see the whole park in one trip. The park is larger than the state of Rhode Island, with 2.2 million acres and 3,500 square miles of AMAZING.

To give you the context of Grant Lake’s location, West Geyser Basin is only 3 miles from the campground. Grand Teton National Park entrance is 28 miles away.

We were there for five nights and four solid days, and we didn't get to all the attractions we planned before we headed to Grand Teton. For instance, you can spend a whole day at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.

Yellowstone National Park Lodges manage Grant Village Campground. Their campgrounds are very nice and well maintained, with some great amenities you will not find at other campgrounds.

  • 17 bathrooms with flush toilets and a cold water sink with a faucet

  • Shower and laundry facilities on site (two showers per site included in the day rate)

  • Fire pit (firewood available for purchase on-site)

  • Drinking water in the campground for cooking and filling up water bottles

Grant Village Campground is part of the Yellowstone National Park Lodging group of campgrounds. It is recommended that you book online 13 months in advance. The park sees over 4 million visitors annually, all needing somewhere to sleep.
